Refund Policy

1. Who processes refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee

You can get a full refund of any ExpenseCatcher payment — a new subscription, an upgrade or a renewal, monthly or yearly — if you ask within 14 days of the date you were charged. You don’t need to give a reason. When a payment is refunded, the plan it paid for ends and your account moves to the Free plan; your catchers, catches and Drive files are kept.

After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or we charged you in error. We may decline repeated refund requests that look like an attempt to use paid plans for free.

3. How to ask for a refund

• Request it from Paddle at paddle.net or with the link in your Paddle receipt email; or
• email hello@expensecatcher.com from your account address with the date of the charge, and we will arrange it with Paddle.

Refunds are usually issued within 5 business days; your bank may take a few more days to show them.

4. Cancelling

Cancel any time from your account settings, the link in any Paddle receipt, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to the Free plan. Cancelling on its own doesn’t refund the current period — ask for a refund within 14 days if you want one.

5. Your legal rights

This policy adds to, and doesn’t limit, any rights you have under the consumer law where you live, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom.
